Siamak Tonekaboni, Founder

Siamak is an entrepreneur and a dedicated senior manager with extensive business and technical acumen gained through undertaking critical development roles within the medical/molecular diagnostics and pharmaceutical industries. He possesses a comprehensive understanding of the industry gained over a period of 25 years and holds a PhD in molecular biology/virology.

Damian Santamaria, Publishing Director

Damian is a multimedia publisher expert with over twenty years track record on the industry. He specialises in developing integrated visual communication strategies, video production and social media campaigns. Damian is also a Visiting Lecturer at the London College of Communications, UAL and visiting industry expert at Southampton Solent University. In his early career, he worked for Ogilvy ONE as a branding consultant for international pharmaceutical companies.

Henry E. Chang, Business Development Director

Henry is a global health expert with over 25 years of professional experience in strategic planning, business/products development, social impact investing, partnerships, advocacy and policy initiatives in the public and private sectors. He has led and orchestrated organizational development and transformation as executive director and coach for start-up companies in medical diagnostics and pharmaceuticals industry, non-governmental organizations, and Fortune 500 companies. Henry holds a BA in molecular biology and received his HIV/AIDS clinical research fellowship training at the University of California, Los Angeles and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Brian Conibere, Chief Editor

Brian is a Senior Director and has been in the medical diagnostic industry for many years in a variety of product management and global marketing positions. Over the years Brian has played key leadership roles in organizations and has contributed to the development of many famous brands in the clinical diagnostic industry.

Professor Peter Karayiannis, Scientific Editor

Peter is Professor of Molecular Virology/Microbiology at St George’s, University of London Medical School’s medical programme at the University of Nicosia. He previously worked as Reader in Molecular Virology at Imperial College London. He is one of the most prominent scientists in the field of hepatitis and has been teaching molecular virology for several decades.

Saina Behnejad, Writer

Saina Behnejad is a current senior at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She’s an international student in political science and international relations from the UK, former Co-Director of Amnesty International at FSU and is currently the Communications Director for the Florida Coalition to Keep Guns Off Campus. She’s passionate about human rights and access to healthcare.
